The web cast covers the details of an open, multi-center randomized control study in which 100 patients at 10 sites in the United States received the study treatment of either Mepilex Ag or Silvadene for partial thickness burns.
In addition, we will discuss the results of a sub-study of pediatric patients aged 1 to 4 years old that received Mepilex Ag treatment in 3 centers.

Lastly, we will hear the nursing perspective from burn nurses involved in both studies whose main priority was to maintain adequate pain control during procedures to maintain patient comfort.
